Is laser eye surgery painful?

I think anyone undergoing an operation, a surgical procedure is bound to be anxious, but the procedure itself is painless. It takes – for both eyes to be done – about 20 minutes and it’s extremely effective and giving them good vision postoperatively.

So when people come to see me, we discuss the procedure and I can allay those anxieties that people have. We also work with a team who will support the patients and also support them with those anxieties.

I’ve been doing laser eye surgery for over 20 years and I’ve not had a single patient who has had a problem that I haven’t been able to resolve and sort out for them.
