• an explanation of the variety of refractive procedures available to correct your vision, including but not limited to laser surgery.
• a discussion about patient suitability, and why some patients are not suitable
• a video presentation on LASIK
• at the end of the session, all attendees will be free to ask questions of the surgeon in an open forum. Many of our past patients found this open question forum extremely helpful as they were able to benefit also from the questions of others.
• a chance to meet the surgeon and briefly discuss your prescription.

Optometrist and GP Seminars
These training seminars are designed for the optometrist or GP who wishes to refresh or widen their knowledge of refractive surgery. With increasing publicity and public demand for surgical vision correction, the GP or optometrist are often the first port of call for an enquiring patient. By understanding the details of the various procedures you will be able to offer your customers more accurate advice, a service that may well distinguish you from your competitors and please your patients. The agenda of these seminars varies and sometimes involve a guest speaker.
